In order to support On-Board Processing OTN, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a
Software Engineer - Embedded SW Implementation & Validation (d/f/m)As a SW Engineer (d/f/m) for Embedded Systems within the department On-Board Processing OTN, you will contribute to the design, implementation and qualification of the flight software for Instruments and Equipment, which represent the Payload of various satellites, commercial or institutional ( ESA, DLR ) in the area of Telecommunication, Optical Instruments and GNSS Receivers.
This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.

Your tasks and responsibilitiesResponsible for verifying that system requirements are correctly and completely implemented.
Define interfaces between functions, or between systems and manage their consistent implementation into system(s).
Responsible for test preparation, execution and analysis for the functions of a system/subsystem/equipment/component/module.
Contribute to module and integration testing as well as functional closed loop testing.
Desired skills and qualificationsEducated to degree level in Electrical Engineering, Software engineering, Information Technology or equivalent
Several years of experience in real-time softwaresystems and their development, validation and software architectures
Knowledge of onboard software development standards ((GSWS-F und ECSS-E-ST-40C)
Programming languages: C,C&43;&43;, Java, Python, Rus
Hands-on experience with RTEMS, Linux (real time), Windows and knowledge of JIRA, Confluence and
Negotiation level in English and intermediate knowledge of German
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
