Summary:
Lead setup and configuration of test environments (hardware, software, and networks) to replicate production systems.
Supervise a small team to achieve technical milestones and support rapid software development initiatives.
Design, develop, and execute test plans, cases, and scenarios to verify software quality, reliability, and functionality.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency.
Lead the implementation of HIL automation systems for system-level avionics testing.
Collaborate closely with CI/CD (DevSecOps) teams to integrate deployment and HIL testing processes.
Provide regular technical updates, progress reports, and issue resolutions to leadership.
Utilize and promote AI tools in HIL development; familiarity with AI-based testing tools is a plus.
Mentor team members in best practices for software verification and test methodologies.
Maintain test documentation, metrics, and reports in compliance with quality and security standards.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree and typically 7+ years of related software engineering experience, or an equivalent combination (PhD + 3 years, Masters + 5 years).
Strong proficiency in NI TestStand, NI VeriStand, and NI LabVIEW or similar HIL automation platforms.
Hands-on experience with NI PXIe systems and hardware integration.
Programming skills in C/C++, Python, MATLAB, or similar languages.
Familiar with version control tools (e.g., Git) and automated testing methodologies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to collaborate across multifunctional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
