Description:Seeking a strong Software Engineer to join the Integrated Maintenance Information System (IMIS) team. The primary focus will be to support our air vehicle integration and system deficiency teams in support of the F-22 aircraft. Must be motivated, able to work independently, and have strong communication skills (technical and non-technical). Candidate must have proven experience in software engineering.
The candidate will be joining a collaborative team, and will need to:

• Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities
• Design, develop, document, test, and debug software
• Correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent.
Basic Qualifications:
• Proficient knowledge of C++ software development
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in C++
• Knowledge of Software Engineering Life-Cycle Processes
• Knowledge of hardware configurations
• Advanced problem solving skills
• Understanding of cyber security and standard DOD security practices such as: STIG compliance
Desired Skills:
• Computer Engineering or Engineering Degree or prior professional experience in Software Engineering
• Familiar with 1553 protocol
• Software development for defense systems or other distributed, real-time embedded systems
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of full software life-cycle development
• Willingness to travel (if needed)

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
