Description
To be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining the software tools, particularly to be responsible for the design and implementation of software application for aircraft domain.
He/she builds/assembles high-quality code on both COTS and custom built applications to fulfill a defined purpose. Keeps up-to-date with new and emerging technologies including ability to autonomously develop POCs.
Possesses a good knowledge of Full Stack development and has the agility to transition between front/back end technologies. The jobholder engages in all phases of the product development (DevOps & Agile mind-set) to keep the Airbus IT landscape running smoothly, reliably, and efficiently.
Qualification & Experience
Engineering graduate with 4-7 years of experience in developing and maintaining JAVA and C&43;&43; applications.
At least 2-3 years of experience in development using Java technologies.
Strong understanding of relational databases (Oracle, SQL server, PostgreSQL etc). NoSQL knowledge is a plus.
Knowledge on Unix/Linux server, shell scripting is a must.
Strong knowledge on DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkin’s, Sonarqube, Kibana, CAST, Confluence, Jira/VersionOne etc.
Ability to design and implement RESTful APIs to fulfill business requirements and allow for data exposure.
Basic understanding of the Container technologies Docker and Kubernetes and Microservices are expected.
Experience of data migrations, app modernization will be a plus.
API documentation using Swagger or similar frameworks.
Knowledge of test frameworks in both frontend and backend technologies.
Knowledge of SAFe agile methodology and workflow, preferably using VersionOne/JIRA.
Ability to collaborate with a diversity of customer&39;s teams to address important issues and to resolve them.
Experienced in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, adaptation and learning of the business processes speak of the customer especially around Aircraft electrical data management.
Experienced in working within a product delivery lifecycle, Agile/scrum experience in software development (plus).
Basic knowledge & understanding of AWS services is expected.
Strong knowledge of code analysis tools. Ability to analyze code from suppliers and share feedback with them.
Responsibilities
Design, develop a java based application.
Modernize, rewrite the existing code as in when needed.
Support and maintenance of the application. Addressing Incident, problem and Change requests.
Develop and deploy the application changes using DevOps pipeline.
Manage and update application operational documentation, application knowledge articles.
Code Analysis, ability to use the code analysis/optimization tools such as SonarQube, Kibana, CAST.
Proficiency on SQL database on writing SQL queries and procedures to store and access the Core data model.
Produce high quality, well tested and documented source code.
Work as part of an agile team inside the SAFe methodology.
Assemble and edit source code repositories to develop a software stack for the product needs.
Works closely with customers in line with Agile Scrum/DevOps ways of working (e.g. gathering requirements, creating technical specifications and architecture documents, creating good documentation, managing a project timeline).
Develops design specifications and parameters that are in compliance with products’ architectural blueprints.
Track record of successfully deploying and managing configuration management systems.
Participates in all phases of the product development lifecycle, including the analysis, design, test and integration of products.
Researches, evaluates, and develops new tools to improve product development efficiency.
Deploys highly available, scalable, maintainable, monitored systems and services.
Manages the adoption of tooling and industry best practices among development teams
Assist in development of product user manuals.
Willingness to adapt and support during european working hours (CET).
