Then come join RMS (Rotary and Mission Systems) in Valley Forge, Pa! RMS supports the warfighter and improves the defense of our nation through many programs in Valley Forge.

Interested in ISR (Intelligence Surveillance Radar) programs?

How about missiles and targeting systems such as JASSM (Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile) and TTWCS (Tomahawk Tactical Weapons Control System)?

What about aircraft like the F35 Lightning II, the P8 Poseidon, the U2 DragonLady, P3 Maritime surveillance, and anti-submarine warfare platforms?

Maybe you are interested in working on RF Communications and GPS technologies?

We do it all here with small, high performing teams of enthusiastic engineers eager to solve the most challenging problems.

This position is for a senior software engineer to support the Weapons Platform Integration (WPI) collection of projects. WPI has an established history supporting projects in a variety of domains. Including but not limited to GPS, Battlespace Management, Weapons Systems, Data Links, etc. The various projects each have different focuses and learning opportunities for applicants with specific technical interest.

The candidate will work in an agile scrum development environment to design and develop technically complex software systems in the WPI organization. Tasks include defining sub-system architecture, performing detailed software design, generating design documentation, and software implementation and testing (to include developing unit tests).

Alongside the chance to improve and develop software, engineers on the team are confronted with unique technical challenges daily. There is a large swath of subjects to learn about whether the task at hand is figuring out how much the Moon’s gravitational pull moves the surface of the Earth, how which direction a satellite is currently pointing affects its projected signals, or how relativity affects our calculations. This position will reward those who have a passion for learning.
