Full-Time Schedule: 9x80 (Every Other Friday Off)
Target salary range: $90,000 - $120,000.00

Moseley Technical Services is seeking a Software Engineer who is experienced in Test Automation to support software testing activities on the Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Weapon System (GWS). The software test automation engineer works in Agile-based process within a disciplined DevSecOps environment to provide high-quality software products for the program.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement automated test scripts using Python
Support test automation for GUI-driven applications using tools such as Eggplant
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective software integration, verification, and validation
Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements, design, implementation, testing, and deployment
Operate within a DevSecOps framework using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Subversion, Bamboo, Jenkins, SonarQube, Fortify, and Coverity
Work within Agile Scrum teams to deliver test solutions aligned with program-level needs
Contribute to improving automation frameworks, test coverage, and defect resolution
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
- Active Secret Clearance is required
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Development, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of related experience (Or 3+ years with a Master’s)
- Experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including software design requirements, application development, integration, testing, and deployment
- Recent development using Python
- Recent experience in software development related to Test Automation
- Experience/Exposure to Test Automated GUI driven tools – Eggplant specifically
- Experience working in an Agile environment using Jira, Confluence, Crucible, Bitbucket, Subversion, Bamboo, Jenkins, Sonarqube, Fortify, or Coverity
- Proven ability to work across product teams to produce program level solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
- CompTIA Security+ Certification preferred
- Recent and strong understanding of Python development language
- Recent and strong experience in Eggplant Test Automation tool
- Experienced leader in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Proven ability to collaborate with management, systems engineers, hardware designers and integration/test engineers at all levels
