Do you have a Top Secret security clearance and experience building cloud native applications? Are you comfortable writing code in Java and/or React? Do you want to learn about software defined radios? We need your talent, motivation, and vision as a Principal Software Engineer in our Space Systems program area at our Merrimack, NH location.

You will join a team of engineers on a program that provides customers with scalable Software Defined Radio (SDR) platforms, utilizing on-site servers and cloud resources for the processing of complex Signals Of Interest (SOIs), enabling real-time situational awareness in support of the warfighter.

Job Responsibilities
⦁ Contribute to the software development of a full stack application with APIs, containers, relational databases, and automated build pipelines.
⦁ Write software with Java, React, and maybe some Python in an agile environment
⦁ Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve issues identified in the fielded systems
⦁ Apply software best practices on our multi-discipline team

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site.
Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status.

Job Requirements:

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

TS and ability to obtain CompTIA Security+ certification and pass a CI polygraph
6+ years of software development experience, including experience with Java and React
Experience deploying to the cloud (AWS) with best practices (staging, production, automated testing)
Strong written and verbal technical communication skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

CI polygraph
CompTIA's SECURITY+ certification
Experience with automated build pipelines, Jenkins, Ansible, & Atlassian tools
Familiarity with agile development methodologies
Podman & Kubernetes experience

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
