Job Description SummaryAs the Sr. Enterprise Application Engineer, you will work with a DevOps team to develop, execute, and support automation of Enterprise Application (PLM) build, test, and deployment solutions. You will join a dynamic team that strives to effectively enhance GE’s enterprise development & production environments. You will partner with stakeholders, Digital and Engineering teams to assess their business needs and recommend IT solutions. You will review and implement technical designs to ensure compliance with organizational and cybersecurity standards. You will be responsible for training and mentoring less experienced resources.

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Create and support CI/CD pipelines to build, test, and deploy enterprise application software and infrastructure solutions
  • Assist transition from traditional on-prem server solutions to Amazon cloud solutions
  • Document, implement, and execute enterprise application test suites
  • Design and implement automated testing solutions using an existing test framework
  • Assist planning and execution of application releases and upgrades
  • Execute Monitoring, Sustainment & Support of P&A (Performance & Availability, Operational Stability) solutions.
  • Create and send system P&A reports and escalate issues per Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Create and contribute to planning and execution of PLM Priorities (Sprint, Quarterly, Annual, and ad-hoc as required.
  • Work with DBA on refresh activities, Patches and Software Updates / Web servers.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 2 years of professional experience OR associate degree with minimum of 5 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 7 years of professional experience
  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
  • Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience

  • Working knowledge of Oracle databases.
  • Experience working with an offshore development team.
