Senior Principle Engineer Support Specialist job in Scottsdale, Arizona is available with Moseley Technical Services Top Aerospace / Defense company. As a Senior Principal Engineer Support Specialist, you’ll serve as prime consultant and external spokesperson for the organization on highly significant matters relating to policies, programs, capabilities, and long-range goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- The subject matter expert we seek will have significant experience in monitoring and reviewing operational budgets and schedules, and manpower requirements.
- Develop, analyze, troubleshoot and provide technical skills during research and/or product development, perform research and engineering laboratory functions involving the layout, building, testing, troubleshooting, repairing and modification or electronic or electro-mechanical devices, assemblies, subsystems, and systems
- Formulate and recommend corrective action measures such as schedule revisions, manpower adjustments, fund allocations, and work requirements
- Performs requirements analysis, requirements definition, functional analysis, performance analysis, systems integration and test (verification), validation and interface definition studies of subsystem or system elements
- Performs technical planning, cost and risk analyses, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for subsystems and system elements
- Performs customer requirements analysis, develops system requirements and defines allocations to lower levels (elements and components)
- Performs detailed technical analyses for a subsystem or system elements
- Develops and evaluates systems, networks and information systems to ensure designs meet applicable governmental security specifications
- May provide technical security features (e.g., identification, authentication, access control, labeling, and auditing) of the system are considered and function properly
- Researches and analyzes data, such as vendor products, COTS components, GFE/CFE, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application
Qualifications:
- U.S. citizen with ability to obtain Department of Defense Secret security clearance
- Bachelor’s or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4 years job-related experience).
- 10+ years of job-related experience, or a Masters degree with 8+ years of job-related experience.
- Recognized internally and/or externally as a subject matter expert (SME) in multiple adjacent disciplines/fields; consistent high performer delivering outstanding results
- Develop, modify and execute company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide effect
- Gain acceptance from others in sensitive situations, without damage to the relationship
- Communicate and interact with executive leadership on items of significant importance (remediation, risk mgt., regulatory compliance)
- DevSecOps experience with some of the following platform/tools: AWS, GitLab, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD pipeline development, Test automation
- Missile Warning/Missile Tracking system integration, test, operations experience
- Familiar with Agile philosophies and processes
- Familiar Ground Entry Points, RF Link analysis, Satellite Communication, Antennas
