In this impactful role, you’ll apply advanced structural engineering techniques to analyze, validate, and support aircraft structures — directly contributing to the development of next-generation propulsion systems.

What You’ll Be DoingPerform detailed structural analyses to ensure components meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements
Analyze loads from Finite Element Models (FEM) and collaborate closely with design engineers
Create comprehensive strength check notes and stress documentation packages
Conduct static, fatigue, damage tolerance, and vibration analyses using advanced tools and methods
Support nacelle (including inlets and thrust reversers) and strut/pylon structures — composite structure experience is a plus
Utilize stress tools to evaluate structural performance and compliance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams during design, manufacturing, and post-delivery phases
What You BringRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering
5–8 years of experience with a BS, 3–6 years with an MS, or 0–3 years with a PhD
Strong background in structural sizing, FEM analysis, and documentation
Familiarity with stress tools
Proven collaboration with design engineers and understanding of aircraft loads and materials
Excellent communication and technical documentation skills

Pay Details: $70.71 per hour
