Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (6-Month Contract, Contract-to-Hire Intent)
Schedule: Monday–Friday 1st Shift (9/80A) 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $71.54 – $111.22 per hour
Work Arrangement: Onsite
In this high-impact role, you will lead advanced structural analysis efforts for aircraft systems, ensuring safety, performance, and compliance in a cutting-edge aerospace environment.
What You’ll DoAs a Structural Engineer, your expertise will drive critical engineering outcomes:
Perform static, dynamic, and durability/damage tolerance (DaDT) analysis for metallic and composite airframe structures
Analyze mechanical systems and aircraft equipment using both hand calculations and advanced automated tools
Derive and apply non-flight and applied loads, supporting design and validation processes
Create, extract, and distribute internal loads using tools such as FEMAP, NX, and Teamcenter
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve program objectives
Prioritize and manage multiple high-level engineering tasks simultaneously
Evaluate complex technical challenges and develop innovative, practical solutions
Contribute to design improvements that enhance aircraft performance and reliability
What You BringRequired QualificationsOne of the following:
Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 12+ years of aerospace structural analysis experience
Master’s degree in STEM with 10+ years of relevant experience
PhD in STEM with 7+ years of relevant experience
Strong background in aerospace structural analysis (metallic and composites)
Experience with industry tools such as FEMAP, NX, and Teamcenter
Proven ability to analyze complex systems and deliver solutions in a fast-paced environment
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
Preferred QualificationsExperience in defense or high-security aerospace programs
Familiarity with advanced simulation methods and load development
Demonstrated leadership on large-scale engineering projects

Pay Details: $71.54 to $111.22 per hour
