Join a team dedicated to designing and producing armored combat and support vehicles. As a prime mover in ground force capabilities, this firm provides innovative solutions that ensure the safety and effectiveness of military personnel worldwide, focusing on durability, mobility, and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Execute the design and development of structural hardware, including detail components and welded assemblies.
- Operate within cross-functional teams to meet cost, schedule, and technical performance targets.
- Develop 3D CAD models (Siemens NX, Creo, or VIS) that comply with technical and manufacturing requirements.
- Collaborate with project engineers to ensure system-level performance goals are met through balanced design solutions.
- Partner with drafters to translate concepts into production-ready technical drawings.
- Release hardware models and prints for use in manufacturing and integration.
- Support the fabrication and integration of components onto prototype and production vehicles.
- Contribute to hardware verification and test activities as needed.
- Conduct and support Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations for prototype and production issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering
- 5–7 years of experience developing and releasing designs at the vehicle program level
- Demonstrated ability to take designs from concept to physical hardware, including subsystem and system integration
- Experience with welded structural components and familiarity with welding processes and specifications
- Proficient in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Proficient with 3D CAD modeling tools; experience with Siemens NX, Creo, or VIS preferred
- Familiarity with Teamcenter PLM software (preferred)
- Experience with RCCA methodologies
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be able to work on-site full-time
- Must be able to travel as required
- Must be able to work up to 10 overtime as needed
