In order to support the Tornado System Design Team, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a
Subsystem Designer (d/f/m)The System Design team focuses on the definition of Avionics Subsystem, the Main Computer or Attack Computer Requirements as well as prototyping and development of complex algorithms.
We need your support for the upcoming requirements regarding Store Integration from an avionics perspective and intelligent assisted Management of available sensor resources.

Your tasks and responsibilities
Review and refine requirements from System/ Subsystem Level
Write Subsystem Requirements
Write Requirements for aircraft SW
Develop functional prototypes
Support the generation of a Computer Processing Specification w.r.t. Traceability requirements
Desired skills and qualifications
Master in Aeronautical, Electrical Engineering or computer science
Ability to understand operational use of the System and define requirements
Good knowledge of processes and tools (DOORS, CAMEO)
Understanding about work processes in Military environment and about System and Software development in aircrafts
Understanding about certification of flying Systems is an advantage
Knowledge about System (SW) Engineering Standards like ARP 4754a, Incose, Do178c
Knowledge about Requirements Management or Requirements Based Engineering (RBE) and Analysis
Knowledge about Eurofighter or Tornado Avionics System
Fluent English and German skills
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
