Job Summary:
As a member of the Radar System Engineering Team; the Radar Engineering Student will be involved in new and ongoing development and software Support.
You will have a diverse set of responsibilities which can include develop/enhance software, data analysis, system and software testing.
In this work term, May to August 2026, the primary task for the student will be able to work individually and within a modified Agile Team on developing and refactoring our surveillance maintenance and toolchain software.Job Description

Responsibilities
- Software development (C/C&43;&43;/Python/JavaScript) and testing.
- System Hardware installation, setup and testing.
- Create test plans, procedures and scripts.
- Support life cycle support activities of current systems and lab environments.
Desired Skills
- Good understanding of programming.
- Good understanding of operating systems.
- Good understanding of Networking.
- Good oral and written communications in English.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Working Conditions:
- This is a 5 days a week onsite role at the Technical Services Centre, 280 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa, ON

- You are required to be a registered full time student who is returning to full time studies in the fall 2026.
