* Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Bachelor’s degree) and typically 6 or more years of related work experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Master’s degree + 4 years of related work experience, or 10 years of related work experience, etc.).
* A minimum of 5 years of experience with flight series publications and forms (military/commercial derivative flight manuals).
* Flight or flight training experience (pilot, flight engineer, or flight training).
* Demonstrates proficiency in the use of military/commercial derivative flight series manuals.
* Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and system description documents.
* Ability to work on multiple projects with varying levels of requirements efficiently and effectively.
* Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Word, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
* Must be a U.S. Citizen. Preferred Skills
* Prior pilot, radar navigator, flight engineer, or electronic warfare officer experience.
* Flight crew experience.
* Experience using Arbortext Editor and Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML).
* Pilot’s license or military aviation experience.
* Working knowledge of Military Specifications and Commercial Standards. Job Duties & Functions
* Create and revise military flight documents, including Aircraft Flight Manuals, Operating Manuals, Pilot Abbreviated Checklists, Operating Handbooks, Weapons Manuals, and Weight and Balance documentation.
* Collect, research, and analyze engineering source data and specifications.
* Lead activities to define, document, and maintain flight manuals, checklists, and crew operations procedures.
* Collaborate with subject matter experts, including system engineers, technicians, flight test engineers, pilots, and publications personnel.
* Develop technical publication project plans, budgets, and baseline schedules.
* Conduct peer reviews, quality checks, and validation of technical publications.
* Interface with customers to support development and ensure accuracy of technical products.
* Develop, analyze, collect, and store system support technical data elements and specifications.
* Provide recommendations on product supportability and establish operational maintenance tasks, resources, and support systems.
* Identify and analyze logistics support candidates and develop logistics support analysis records and reports.
* Determine spares provisioning requirements and recommend spare and replacement parts, levels, and stocking.
* Prepare and maintain technical documentation for operating, testing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft systems and components.
* Evaluate aircraft and fleet operational performance, reliability, and availability to establish maintenance concepts. TeamGlobal Benefits
