Description:The System Engineer Principal will be responsible for the following:
- Applies systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. Responsibility for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables
associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288:
• Technical Process Area - Stakeholder Requirements Definition, Requirements Analysis, Architectural Design, Implementation, Integration, Verification, Transition, Validation, Operation, Maintenance, and Disposal;
• Project Process Area - Project Planning, Project Assessment and Control, Decision Management, Risk Management, Configuration Management, Information Management, and Measurement;
• Enterprise (Organizational Project-Enabling) Process Area - Project Portfolio Management, Infrastructure Management, Lifecycle Model Management, Human Resource Management, and Quality Management;
• Agreement Process Area - Acquisition and Supply.

Basic Qualifications:
- TS/SCI with polygraph required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Twenty (20) years of systems engineering experience.
-High School Diploma or GED plus twenty-six (26) years of general systems engineering experience in lieu of Bachelors degree.
Desired Skills:
Senior Technical Expertise:
- Shall analyze, track and identify industry trends, technologies, constraints and priorities regarding current and projected SIGINT strategies, solutions, and challenges.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of technical SIGINT experience in several of the commonly recognized SIGINT disciplines including signals search/analysis, collection, data fusion/analysis, reporting, communications, and dissemination.
- Must have completed a minimum of two (2) research and development projects in a SIGINT discipline.
- At least six (6) years of the SIGINT experience in leadership positions such as direction of significant R&D efforts or managing programs/projects requiring c comprehensive and innovative technical solutions.
Principal RF Systems Engineering:
- Shall perform and/or manage the activities of contractor personnel involved with the development, engineering, staging, interfacing, integration, documentation, testing and modification of complex classified and unclassified SIGINT systems.
Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly SP

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
