Middleware Data Engineer

Lead, Middleware Management

Responsible for configuring, monitoring, maintaining and resolving of technical issues for all Middleware applications and platforms in regards to data distributions.

• Work with Partners and MAB Data Architects to analyze, build, develop and implement middleware solutions based on internal and external customer requirements to meet MAB business demands.
• Create and maintain documentation for middleware applications/platforms on installations, migrations and upgrades according to MAB IT standards and operating procedures.
• Perform troubleshooting tasks, incident responses and resolve technical issues in timely and accurate manner to improve middleware applications/platforms performance and functionality.
• Implement MAB IT standard processes for installation, maintenance and enhancement of middleware applications/platforms.
• Brief and train business users on the usage of new middleware applications/platforms as and when necessary.

Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Data Engineering or related field with 3- 4 years of working experience in Data Engineering role or related fields.

• Intermediate knowledge of Azure applications, Kafka functionality and SQL codes in distributing data to other applications.
• Possesed related IT technical skills such as system troubleshooting, technology terms understanding and SLAs compliance.
• Good at multitasking, possesed analytical, problem solving, negotiating and good oral and written communication.
• Have strong positive and can-do attitude.
