We are looking for experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer SME to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer. This program delivers Enterprise Computing Engineering services with modern technology solutions with that function both on customer premise, and via remote Cloud services. As a mission-focused administrator that solves problems on the program, you will be expected to: recognize the issue(s), identify the facts, define additional data that would be helpful, make assumptions as necessary, determine alternative approaches, evaluate alternatives, make recommendations, alter assumptions and rework solutions, and reflect on lessons learned.
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in managing, securing, and evolving the enterprise Windows infrastructure. Serving as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Windows-based systems and identity services, you will provide enterprise-level technical leadership, architectural direction, and operational excellence in support of large-scale, mission-critical environments.
In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, security, and lifecycle management of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and related services. You will drive modernization, automation, and zero trust initiatives while partnering closely with senior stakeholders across operations, architecture, engineering, and security teams.
To thrive in this role, you should bring a proven track record of delivering SME-level troubleshooting, defining and executing architectural roadmaps, leading security assessments and remediations, and mentoring engineers—all while operating effectively in a fast-paced, high-availability enterprise environment.
