Systems engineering role responsible for requirements management, subsystem integration, risk mitigation, and verification/validation of complex defense and aerospace systems.
Job RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably Aerospace, Electrical, Systems, Computer, or Software Engineering.
Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Familiarity with defense and aerospace industry standards, regulations, and specifications.
Knowledge of relevant technologies such as avionics, sensors, communication systems, and software integration.
Computer integration and testing experience.
Experience planning and executing system-level verification and validation activities.
Preferred SkillsAdvanced engineering degree or relevant professional certifications in systems engineering.
Experience with complex multi-subsystem integration in defense or aerospace programs.
BASH scripting experience.
Experience authoring system specifications, design documents, test plans, and user manuals.
Job ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and oversee the integration of subsystems, components, and technologies to ensure proper functionality and interoperability.
Define, document, and manage system requirements across the full development lifecycle.
Identify potential risks and uncertainties associated with system design, integration, and operation.
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to enhance system safety and reliability.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation including system specifications, design documents, test plans, and user manuals.
Plan and execute verification and validation activities to ensure systems meet specified requirements and performance metrics.
Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
