Prime Air is seeking a systems engineer who combines superb technical and analytical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively. This person must be comfortable collaborating with our engineering teams. We’re looking for people who innovate and love solving hard problems. You will work hard, have fun, and of course, make history!
Export Control License: This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on Amazon’s ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.
Key job responsibilities
- Develops systems engineering artifacts including design documentation, interface control documents, requirements
- Performs subsystem integration
- Supports verification and validation for requirements and system design

Job Requirements:
- Background knowledge or coursework in systems engineering (aerospace, automotive, or similar)- Industry experience as a systems engineer

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $79,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $202,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
