CAE USA is seeking a talented and motivated professional to join our team at our Binghamton, NY location. This role is an integral part of our mission to deliver world‑class simulation, training, and mission‑readiness solutions. The selected candidate will work onsite at our Binghamton facility, collaborating closely with cross‑functional engineering teams, program managers, and customers. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates interested in making Binghamton their new home base. What You’ll Do:
Qualifications and Education Requirements
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s in Systems, Electrical, Computer, Aerospace, or related engineering field.
5+ years of systems engineering experience in the defense domain (mission systems, C4ISR, EW, avionics, sensors, or comparable).
Demonstrated strength in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical system issues.
Must be able to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret or higher clearance prior to the start of employment.
Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Program Access.
Flexibility to support occasional overtime, weekend work, shift work and site travel (CONUS)
Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of network and platform interfaces (e.g., Ethernet/TCP/IP, MIL‑STD‑1553, ARINC 429/664, serial buses).
Strong problem‑solving instincts and a passion for building reliable, high‑performance systems.
Experience working in Waterfall and/or Agile/Scrum environments.
Experience with Electronic Warfare, radar/EO/IR sensors, signal processing/DSP, or secure communications.

Security Responsibilities

Physical Demands

Salary Range: $118,300-138,000
The actual compensation rate is subject to the evaluation of the following factors (but not limited to): the candidates work experience, qualifications, skills, internal equity, and spanet.
