Make an Impact on the Future of SpaceflightPDS Tech Commercial is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to support propulsion testing operations at the iconic Kennedy Space Center. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of spacecraft development, ensuring the safety and performance of propulsion systems that power missions beyond Earth.
What You’ll DoAs a Propulsion Test Engineer, you will:
Author and execute detailed test procedures for spacecraft propulsion systems.
Perform hypergolic propellant servicing and leak testing.
Lead component removal, replacement, and re-testing on hypergolic systems.
Operate high-pressure pneumatic equipment to pressurize flight hardware.
Collaborate with technicians, QA, and engineering teams to execute test plans.
Troubleshoot and resolve non-conformances on ground and flight systems.
What You BringRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or related field.
5+ years of propulsion-related fluids test engineering experience.
Hands-on experience with:
Hypergolic propellant loading and servicing.
Leak checking spacecraft fluid systems.
Functional testing of hypergolic systems.
Leading cross-functional test teams.
Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
Willingness to work overtime and off-shift operations.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
