The is Systems Engineer role with a focus on technical writing, system testing, and training of cross domain solutions. This role will be responsible for generating training, technical, and installation material for new versions of our cross-domain system product. This role will also be responsible training system integrators/users. Periodic travel for training or installation/testing will be required. Experience creating computer-based training is preferable. Secret clearance required to start.

The selected candidate will be supporting the TSS Program in all phases of the software
development process. This individual will be ensuring the execution of software development
and programming primarily in Java and/or Python in a team environment potentially supporting multiple projects or task orders supporting the maintenance, modernization and capability upgrades to multiple software products developed and sustained by this program.

The selected candidate will also collaborate closely with project management, systems engineers, systems integration and test engineers as well as fellow software engineers.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Trusted Security Solutions (TSS) is seeking a
Engineers in support of development infrastructures consisting of Windows and Linux systems.

• Duties may include assisting in setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining
system documentation, tuning system performance, installing and configuring hardware, installing system wide software and allocate mass storage space, system backup and recovery, patching and maintenance, etc.
• Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software for integrating COTS/GOTS applications into Linux and/or Windows Systems. Experience troubleshooting system resources
• Hands on experience executing System administration tasks on Linux & Windows Systems.

Basic Qualifications:
- Current/Active DoD Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a final TS/SCI Clearance

- Proficient with Linux (RHEL) OS

- Experience with technical documentation review, development, and maintenance (preferably for large government projects)

- Demonstrated ability to perform Technical Documentation Validation and Verification

- Generate artifacts and present work during customer meetings

- Expected to obtain Security+ certification within 6 months of starting

- Working knowledge of setting up, testing, installing and administering various flavors of
Linux and Windows Operating Systems

- Basic hands-on experience troubleshooting IT Server/Desktop environments

- Capable of updating/revising technical documentation related to System Administration procedures using MS Office products (Excel, Word, Power Point, Visio, Access), Windows and
Linux systems

- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
- Prefer TS/SCI clearance. Minimal requirement is a SECRET clearance with an ability to obtain a TS clearance.
- Experience creating Computer Based Training (CBT) modules
- Familiar with Naval System Architecture
- Prior experience in the development, integration, and deployment of secure data transfer projects
- Familiar with Raise The Bar NCDSMO requirements
- Familiar with Cross Domain Solutions architecture
- Currently valid Security+, CASP, CISSP or similar certification
- Current IT industry certification for administering Windows and/or Linux/Red Hat Operating Systems is a plus
- Basic working knowledge of Networking technologies (routing, switching)
- Basic knowledge of Storage Area Networks (SAN)
- Experience with patching, system backup & recovery
- Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity
- Knowledge of Server virtualization
- Understanding of Multi-level workstation security solutions
- Experience with scripting and system automation
- Possess excellent customer relationship management skills to include outreach and
communications experience.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $100,400 - $192,500 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
