PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to support an industry-leading aerospace partner in Berkeley, MO. About the RoleAs a Systems Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in lifecycle systems engineering—leading integration and verification activities, defining performance requirements, and ensuring the compatibility, safety, and reliability of complex aerospace systems. Your work will help drive key decisions and outcomes from concept through design, testing, validation, and in-service support.
What You’ll Do• Lead integration and verification activities for aero systems within a fast-paced engineering environment
• Evaluate operational needs and translate them into system performance requirements
• Coordinate technical parameters to ensure seamless physical, functional, and program interface compatibility
• Conduct detailed analyses to optimize system architecture for safety, reliability, maintainability, affordability, and mission success
• Support test planning, execution, and data analysis
• Develop and execute requirements management processes, risk mitigation strategies, and readiness assessments
• Resolve cross-functional engineering issues to ensure successful system delivery
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and industry experts
• Track project milestones, maintain schedules, and ensure accountability among stakeholders
Required Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, engineering technology, physics, chemistry, mathematics, data science, or computer science
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in aero integration and verification (military or commercial aircraft)
• Experience with systems engineering and verification/validation processes
• Strong knowledge of airframe systems, aerodynamic principles, loads testing, GNC, vehicle management systems, and materials
• Hands-on experience with test planning, execution, and data analysis
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Familiarity with JIRA, PI Planning, and Agile methodologies
• Proven ability to manage schedules, track progress, and coordinate with stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to deep-dive into technical issues
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications• Experience with T-7 or similar aircraft platforms
• Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Familiarity with FAA and MIL-STD regulatory standards
• Experience using engineering modeling, simulation, and analysis tools
• Advanced engineering degrees with relevant experience

Pay Details: $56.78 per hour
