Come be a part of it!Role SummaryIn this role, you will support test and evaluation activities by developing and executing test procedures, assisting with test hardware design and configuration, and analyzing test data to verify system and component performance. You will work cross-functionally with engineering and program teams to support test planning, execution, reporting, and continuous improvement while operating under general supervision in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Education & Job Requirements
* You must have:
* A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or an equivalent engineering discipline from an accredited course of study.
* A minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical design or an engineering classification.
* U.S. person status for purposes of export compliance.
* Knowledge of common drafting tools, including MS Visio and Zuken.
* Knowledge of instrumentation sensors and data acquisition systems.
* The ability to lift up to 25 pounds and walk between buildings across campus as required.
* The ability to successfully complete required on-the-job or formal classroom training.
* The ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance. Preferred Skills
* You will have:
* A master’s degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent discipline.
* Understanding of electromagnetic interference principles.
* Experience with wire installation and wire design.
* Experience analyzing measurement data.
* Experience with PLC and closed-loop control systems.
* Basic knowledge of hydraulic systems.
* Systems engineering experience.
* Familiarity with LabVIEW and NI hardware. Job Duties & Functions
* You will be able to:
* Develop and document engineering solutions and designs.
* Develop test plans, test procedures, and instrumentation configurations.
* Assist in demonstrating the effectiveness of test methods and minimizing test risk.
* Design component- and sub-assembly-level hardware or software, and verify designs using analytical tools.
* Coordinate with manufacturing teams to support fabrication and assembly of test hardware.
* Prepare and present technical design reviews.
* Work cross-functionally to support program and project plans while integrating with key stakeholders.
* Apply lessons learned to improve test procedures and processes.
* Support the development and approval of estimates and proposals.
* Participate in the evaluation of test performance data and review test data for accuracy, quality, and fidelity.
* Alert senior engineers to off-nominal test data and conditions.
* Prepare test reports and test debrief materials for internal and customer review.
