Education & Job Requirements
* You must have:
* An associate degree in a technical field, or equivalent advanced education.
* A minimum of 3 years of related work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., bachelor’s + 1 year, 5 years’ experience).
* U.S. person status for purposes of export compliance.
* Knowledge of electrical circuits and hardware/computer organization.
* Proficiency with operating systems (MS, UX).
* Proficiency in computing, networking, and cybersecurity.
* Proficiency with programming tools such as C++, Java, Python, etc.
* Experience with revision control tools such as Git.
* Experience using electrical measurement equipment.
* The ability to lift up to 25 pounds and walk between buildings across campus as required. Preferred Skills
* You will have:
* Understanding of instrumentation and measurement principles.
* Knowledge of MS Visio and Zuken wire design tools.
* Knowledge of power/spectrum analyzers.
* Familiarity with NEC and NFPA 70E standards.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic diagrams and schematics. Job Duties & Functions
* You will be able to:
* Assist engineers and senior technicians with drawings, test system builds, and test support activities.
* Serve as a crew member supporting test operations.
* Participate in test design and perform routine procurement, fabrication, and assembly of components, test fixtures, and test systems.
* Maintain laboratory equipment to ensure assets are in calibration cycles.
* Organize and maintain 5S lab areas.
* Support system pre-test setup, integration, checkout, and post-test teardown.
* Troubleshoot and recommend resolutions for basic laboratory and test-related problems.
* Document test plans, procedures, and results.
* Coach and train others on laboratory and test procedures.
