Test & Evaluation Engineer 2

• Regular and predictable attendance is required.
• Assists in demonstrating the effectiveness of test methods.
• Develops simple test procedures, and instrumentation and configuration definition needed to perform the test and minimize risk.
• Designs component and sub-assembly level hardware or software and uses analytical tools to verify the design.
• Assists in coordinating the manufacture and assembly of test hardware.
• Identifies solutions to basic problems and supports the development of metrology processes, methods, and tools.
• Supports the development of test debrief material.
• Participates in the evaluation of test performance data.
• Reviews test data for accuracy, quality, and/or fidelity prior to delivery to customer.
• Alerts senior engineers of off-nominal data.
• Prepares test reports for review.
• Works under general supervision.
• Ability to obtain a clearance

Project/day-to-day activities they will be working on:

• Perform characterization testing on discrete electronic components ranging from Diodes and Transistors to high-complexity integrated circuits.
• Design test circuits
• PCB Layout
• Supervise the build of test boards
• Write test software in Labview

HARD Skills REQUIRED to perform this role/job:

• Circuit Design

• Labview

PREFERRED skills to perform this role/job:

• Familiar with Test Equipment (Oscilloscope, Source Measure Units, High speed Digital I/O)
• Used Semiconductor Test Equipment (Semi-Tek 201, Advantest, NI STS Test System, Teradyne, …)
• NI PXIe Test Development
