The Test Engineer leads activities for assigned engine programs. In this role, you will be responsible to review shop manuals for test procedure changes and initiate software and procedure changes.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
Maintain, troubleshoot, and coordinate the repair of test cell systems
Be the primary focal for select engine models for all test related activities
Coordinate with other test sites for best practices
Posse solid technical skills and solve problems quickly
Support and perform work in compliance to all Environmental, Health, and Safety programs, policies, and regulations
Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.
In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work and understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
Qualifications/requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college and a minimum of 5 years of direct manufacturing, assembly, or test cell experience OR a high school diploma / GED with at least 9 years of direct manufacturing, assembly, or test cell experience
Airframe and Powerplants license (Or 3 years of jet engine repair experience)
Willing to work overtime to include weekends

Aircraft engine experience on CFM56, CF34, or CT7/T700 engine programs
