Job Summary
Are you looking to put your electrical engineering degree to work in a challenging role with a leader in the industry? This is an outstanding opportunity to be involved with the design and development of test programs to measure the functionality and integrity of products and services! In this role you will maintain and develop new on-platform vehicle subsystem diagnostics, write test procedures & protocols to assess product reliability, evaluate the ability of products to meet performance standards & specifications and debug test hardware and software.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for supporting a group of engineers on a technical activity and completion of activity on time and budget
- Design, develop, analyzes, document and support testing of products, systems or subsystems
- May use computer-aided engineering or other design/analysis software in the performance of assignments. Review customer specifications and requirements, and under direction, develop designs to best support them, including cost as a key design variable
- Provides regular reporting of progress and status
- Responsible for completion of assigned task on lime and meeting technical requirements
- Reviews customer specifications and requirements, and under direction develops designs to best support them, including cost as a key design variable
- Specifies and evaluates supplier components, subsystems and services
- Supports the program design to cost and design for manufacture requirements
- Develops prototypes to retire key development risks as directed
- Communicates clearly (written and oral) with other company personnel and the customer as required
- May participate in preparation of less complex proposals
- Supports, communicates, reinforces and defends the mission, values and culture of the organization
Job Requirements:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is required
- 0+ years’ experience
- Novice technical expertise and application domain knowledge
- Military vehicle system/subsystem expertise a plus
- RF knowledge a plus
