THE WORK
• Responsible for the management of the engineering team including assessing and assigning personnel to various field support efforts; writing and administering performance appraisals for represented employees; developing engineering talent to cultivate an inclusive integration and test environment. Provide management across shifts and weekends and travel to other RMS sites as required.
• Assess the need for and implement capital projects to support test efficiencies and test equipment modernization.
• Coordinate, budget, and execute equipment support and maintenance plans for capital and contract test equipment.
• Manage technical insertion and Digital Transformation projects; develop, promote, secure funding for innovative ideas to improve efficiency and implement automation/ robotics.
• Provide insight and expertise to aide in root cause and corrective action efforts.
• Provide technical and staffing input during proposal and capture phases of programs to support operations Integration and Test efforts.
• Support the Operations Suggestion Review Board as the Test Engineering representative.
• Review test methods and software prior to release.
• Participate in critical design and data reviews, as well as SIA events to provide valuable Operations feedback to program partners.
• Information System coordination and management where applicable.

Basic Qualifications:
Must hold BS in engineering with at least 7 years overall technical experience, MS in engineering with at least 5 years overall technical experience. 3-5 years of demonstrated ability to lead groups of multi-disciplined test engineers in an manufacturing environment.

• Familiarity with RADAR and RADAR subsystems.
• Experience with solid state radar systems and signal processing
• Experience with RF and digital testing of radar system subassemblies and systems.
• Experience with environmental stress screening of RF, digital, and power supply assemblies and subassemblies.
• Experience with depot level operations supporting multiple customers (Army, Navy, Air Force and foreign customers).
• Project management (Earned Value / Cost Account) experience and or coursework
• Experience with development of test software and test equipment platforms (LabView, Visual Basic, Matlab, Python, and C++, Keysight, Tektronix, Teradyne).

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
