Utilities and Reliability Engineer

Job Description:

51- Utilities•Oversee the assessment and management of manufacturing equipment, utilities and auxillary systems to improve safety, quality, operational efficiency and capacity of the factory,•Manufacturing Equipment includes but is not limited to: oResistance and induction heating systems, oHigh temperature furnaces, •Utilities include but are not limited to: oEffluent Management: Industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS), waste gas effluent systems (enclosed flare, on site electrical generator, thermal oxidizers), vacuum pumps, evaporator, oils washing systems, scrubbing systems,oProcess Utilities: cooling towers, chiller systems, heat exchangers, Gas Preheaters, Glycol system, filtration systems, any new manufacturing process and all new manufacturing process utilities,oProcess Instrumentation: Gas analysers, Chromatograph, Flow and presssure Transmitters, •Lead design and top level support of all production equipment, utilities, and treatment systems at the Sendayan site. Includes working to ensure production equipment is available when needed, equipment life cycle analysis, equipment health assessments, equipment replacement plans, supporting maintenance. Be the last go-to person before equipment OEM support is required to resolve issues.•Working closely with the Capital Project Team to plan and execute critical factory investments. This will include responsibilities for development of concepts, justifications, Scope of Work creation, purchasing and vendor activities, installation and commissioning. You may support the Captial Projects Team or lead projects on your own.•Requires strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, control and chemical systems.•Creation and maintenance of all technical drawings for Utilities, equipment, piping layouts, electrical schematics, tooling, fixtures, and material handling equipment.•Assist Engineering Department in calculations, design, and drawings for new equipment and process improvement.•Design of fixtures and tooling for operations processing and material handling, not limited to manage 3D printing device and support.•Perform calculations, design, and drawings for new equipment and process improvement.52- Reliability•Support of Maintenance activities with extensive technical issues or problems that require engineering support,•Use problem solving techniques to identify root causes and apply corrective actions that will lead to continuous reliability improvements,•Provide support in the oversight, develop, and implementation of the sites Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) process, which includes but is not limited to preventative and predictive maintenance,•Provide support with establishing and reporting reliability metrics,•Responsibility for establishing long-term maintenance plans for all manufacturing equipment and associated utility systems to improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), including but not limited to te

Job Requirements:

•Degree in Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or technically related engineering field required,•Five (5) years work experience in Industrial Engineering / Maintenance,•Able to interprate Plant P&ID and PFD, experience and able to utilise CAD Software.•Handling of contractors,•Experience of dealing with external audit and local authorities,•Acknowledge local legal requirement in terms of Safety Facilities/Equipment, Fire Protection System, Buildings, Drainaige and Waste Management,
