Role Overview: 

  • Adhere to all safety regulations and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.

  • Collaborate with welding engineers, manufacturing engineers, welders, and inspectors.

  • Incorporate clearer visual references, photos of acceptable weld conditions, golden sample examples, improved fixture setup guidance, and clear tack welding steps into the welding procedures and documentation. 

  • Focus on manual GTAW operations in the CFM cell and automated GTAW operations in the GEnx cell.

  • Conduct material characterization and mechanical testing of welded joints to evaluate performance and integrity.

  • Apply FLIGHT DECK to improve standard work, enhance visual work instructions, and reduce process variation.

  Ideal Candidate

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with strong written and verbal communication in English. Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 

 Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing or any related engineering courses.
