As a Cargo Pricing Officer, you will be responsible to support overall pricing activities by collaborating with all stakeholders to ensure optimal utilisation of SkyCargo capacity at the best possible yields. Assist Regional Pricing teams by analysing spanet data, identifying trends and anomalies, and ensuring data integrity in line with established pricing policies and procedures.
In this role, you will:
- Provide guidance and support on spot pricing to help stations secure business opportunities while ensuring alignment with Pricing Managers strategies.
- Utilise internal tools and reports to assist Pricing Analysts and Managers in data-driven decision-making; identify outliers and critical areas requiring timely action by the Pricing Manager.
- Support Regional Pricing and outstation teams in system enhancement initiatives, promoting adoption of effective work practices.
- Assist in collating regional inputs for Requests for Quote (RFQ) contracts, allotments, and other pricing activities.
- Regularly review key dashboards such as Charges Corrections, Waivers, Ad hoc Pricing, Demurrage, SkyConnect Performance, and Contract Performance; provide insights to the regional team for continuous improvement.
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of Tariffs and Contract rates to prevent discrepancies and avoid late ad hoc pricing.
- Conduct quarterly reviews of Local Sales Conditions to ensure correct application of import/export charges and prevent revenue leakage.
Qualification- Degree or Honours (12+ 3 or equivalent).
To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:
- 3+ years experience in the air cargo industry or ground handling cargo operations.
- Experience in airline capacity and revenue management.
- Knowledge of cargo operations and load control basics.
- Proficient in computer applications and BI tools used in airline operations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
