Finance Intern
Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defense industries, is now recruiting for its 2026 Internship Program.
Our team is looking for a Finance Intern to join them. You will report to the site finance leadership team and will have an onsite work structure in Creedmoor, NC.

To be considered for the Finance Intern opening, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
- Foundational understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and cost analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems or financial reporting tools is a plus.
- Ability to interpret financial data and communicate insights clearly.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn within a manufacturing and aerospace environment.
As a Finance Intern, you will:
Financial Analysis & Reporting:
Assist in preparing financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses to support site performance monitoring and decision-making.
Budgeting & Forecasting Support:
Partner with the finance team to support budgeting cycles, financial planning activities, and monthly close processes.
Cost & Operational Analysis:
Analyze manufacturing and operational cost data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for efficiency improvements.
Data Management & Controls:
Support data accuracy and integrity by assisting with reconciliations, financial controls, and documentation processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with operations, supply chain, and engineering teams to understand business drivers and support financial decision-making.
Final Presentation:
Prepare and deliver a presentation to site leadership summarizing your project work, key insights, and recommendations at the conclusion of the internship.
Continuous Learning:
Gain hands-on exposure to finance within an aerospace manufacturing environment while developing technical and professional skills through mentorship and practical experience.
