Synopsis
If you would like to be involved in a true, transformational journey, now is the time! The Finance officer within the Accounts receivables team will be responsible for highly detailed client-specific invoices across multiple business areas. Liaising with various commercial revenue teams - Charter, holidays, engineering - for billing processes. You will make sure accounting is timely and accurate.
Accountabilities
- Ensuring the accuracy of invoicing and managing billing interfaces
- Ensures Invoices are delivered to the customer on timely bases
- Monitoring unposted receipts and taking necessary action with the teams concerned
- Review bank guarantees for agents and customers to align with set security levels and validity dates.
- Monitor the IATA default agents on regular basis and coordinate with the GSA’s and RCSM for resolutions
- Reconciling billing customer accounts to the Revenue ledger
- Perform month end Closing activities and manage revenue billing accruals
- Ensure accounting activity level is in accordance with IFRS accounting standards
- Support internal and external auditor’s queries
- Support Tax team with billing queries
- Co-ordinating with accounts receivable, credit/collections and GL team
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or related field (Minimum)
- Knowledge of SAP ERP system is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience within relevant field.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time.
- Good communications skills in both spoken and written
- Experience with a large customer base and high transaction volume
