Financial Analyst/Accounting

In your role, you will:

• Perform month end journal entries and accruals with an emphasis in overhead expense analysis.
• Tracking and processing contract labor billing
• Be responsible for account reconciliations for inventory and other accounts as required for the site
• Work in collaboration with Montreal and Toronto Global 7500 teams
• Support the annual budget process and the quarterly forecast exercises
• Provide ad hoc analysis and reports as required to support program activities and management requirements
• Ensure compliance to required internal control procedures

As our ideal candidate,

• You hold a bachelor degree in Accounting.
• You hold an accounting title (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA) or are in the process of obtaining it.
• You have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in accounting.
• You are known to be autonomous and resourceful. You are a team player ready to support your colleagues.
• You are flexible in managing demands and can adapt to changing priorities.  You work well under pressure.
• You have strong communication skills, both oral and written and can translate financial information for non-Finance individuals.
• You have strong Excel skills and working knowledge of Powerpoint.  Knowledge of SAP is a definite asset.
