What the position is:

Support airline leadership in financial analysis and controls across a variety of project assignments in a high-growth environment.

Essential functions:

• Assist with Forecasting & Budgeting process.
• Evaluation and reporting on expenditure requests.
• Assist with capital expenditure planning and preparation.
• Supporting the Cash forecast.
• Analyze staffing projections for assigned projects.
• Summarize and collect RFPs and vendor proposals.
• Profitability Analysis.
• Preparing PowerPoint presentations regarding business cases.
• Vendor contract review and analysis.
• Assist the Accounting team with accrual calculations for month-end close.
• Prepare monthly P&L variance analysis compared to budget and forecast.
• Reviewing invoices through the accounts payable workflow.
• Regular attendance is an essential function of all positions at CommuteAir.
• Other duties as assigned.

General Requirements:

• 4-year Degree in a related field, a degree in Finance or Accounting preferred. Prefer advanced degree – MBA or an additional 2 years of experience in a similar role.

• Strong financial modeling skills.
• Knowledge of accounting principles.
• Ability to use the Microsoft Suite of products, particularly Excel and Access.
• The ability to utilize proprietary systems as needed.
• Ability to quickly grasp situations and business needs and translate them into business cases and budgets.
• A work style that lends itself to diligent monitoring and the ability to facilitate corrective action.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language.
• Legally authorized to work in the USA.
• Organized with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities regularly.

Physical Requirements:

Sedentary Work:

Visual Acuity
