Drive Financial Strategy in Aerospace: Financial Analyst (Hybrid) Windsor Locks, CT
Role Summary & ImpactPDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global leader in the aerospace industry to hire a skilled Financial Analyst who will play a critical role in shaping business performance and strategic decision-making. In this hybrid role, you’ll deliver high-impact financial insights, support complex programs, and help ensure financial integrity across engineering and development initiatives—all within a highly regulated, cutting-edge aerospace environment.
What You’ll Do (Day-to-Day Responsibilities)Perform financial reporting, planning, and analysis in compliance with GAAP and all RTX policies and procedures
Prepare, review, and approve journal entries, P&L statements, and Balance Sheet accounts
Generate forecasts and analyze trends across sales, operations, programs, engineering, and other business areas
Assist with reporting and reconciliation of Estimates at Completion (EACs) for engineering and development programs
Monitor, analyze, and communicate financial risks and opportunities to stakeholders
Provide clear, data-driven financial analytics to leadership to support informed decision-making
Support ad hoc management requests for financial analysis and reporting
Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and government accounting compliance and reporting requirements are met
Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Experience with financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis
Strong understanding of GAAP and compliance requirements
Preferred Qualifications5–8 years of professional financial analysis experience
Aerospace, manufacturing, or government contracting experience
Proficiency with Excel; experience with SAP, OneStream, and/or Hyperion Planning
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills

Pay Details: $49.08 per hour
