Description:This individual contributor position will report to the SOF GLSS Business Operations Senior Manager and will be responsible for developing and providing actionable Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) recommendations to key stakeholders to make sound financial and operating decisions in relation to the monthly financial reporting of orders, sales, and EBIT to include overall coordination of the Long Range Plan (LRP) Cycle. This position will coordinate with program financial analysts to assess risks to program EACs driving sales and profit changes and ensure accuracy with internal and external reporting requirements. The role is responsible for providing an alignment of the program orders with Business Development projections for the Bus Ops Sr. Mgr.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:
• Integrate information from multiple financial systems (COBRA/SAP), processes and functions to consolidate the data into actionable documents.
• Develop and utilize forward-looking data analytics, visualization, and trend analysis to inform financial strategy and decision making.
• Effective oral and written communication skills will be required to effectively manage across multiple leadership levels as well as various functional and customer levels.
• Effectively handle and execute multi-tasking in addition to working special project assignments simultaneously
• Proven ability to learn, innovate, and share knowledge with others.
Basic Qualifications:
• Able to acquire a secret clearance immediately
• Experience with enterprise-level cost management tools (Example Cobra/SAP).
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) guidelines and processes and their implementation on programs to include a working knowledge of LM command media Program Performance Management Process (PPMP),
• Ability to work independently and meet hard deadlines
• Ability to solve complex data analysis challenges with a growth mindset.
• Expert MS Excel skills with a strong proficiency in using Excel related capabilities (Macros, VBA, PowerQuery, PowerPivot) to build and automate data models.
Desired Skills:
• Bachelors degree or above with experience in managing and analyzing cost and financial performance.
• Previous experience working in a defense industry finance roll with understanding of earned value management and related tools (COBRA, SAP, etc.)
• Previous experience in FP&A
• Experience leading projects that aim to innovate tools, processes, and products.
• Demonstrated Financial and Analytical skills.
• Experience teaching and mentoring peers.
• Experience with Tableau
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and exhibit a proactive, problem solving, cost conscious and company-focused mindset.
• Experience interacting with company VP’s, Directors, Managers, cross-functional peers, coworkers, and entire company personnel as a lead business POC while working in a team environment
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
