Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Mid-Level Procurement Agent (Level 3) to join the Secondary Structures and Supply Chain team in Auburn, Washington.

This role requires blending strategic thinking with on-the-ground execution, enabling the organizations to improve systems, business policies, processes and efficiencies to operate as One Boeing Supply Chain. The Statement of Work includes standard Supply Chain Management functions, data analysis, forecasting, supply and/or demand troubleshooting, and additional duties as assigned.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute integrated organizational risk mitigation plans and schedules, and guide the development of business strategies, goals and objectives.

  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners across the entire Boeing enterprise.

  • Proactively communicate with senior leadership, peers, suppliers, and customers, including communicating business vision and strategies, program or project status, conducting and participating in leadership meetings, and delivering presentations.

  • Establish partnerships and relationships across various business units with internal and external customers, stakeholders, and peers.

  • Develop proficiency with systems and tools required to support day-to-day goals and activities.

  • Work with urgency and make decisions weighing business goals.

This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 3&43; years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain processes

  • 3&43; years of experience in the deployment and administration of policies, procedures, and processes

  • 3&43; years of experience interacting with customers (both internal and external), at all levels, on a one-on-one basis and in group settings

  • 3&43; years of experience in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

  • Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed (less than 10 may be required)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3&43; years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management

  • 3&43; years of experience managing supplier quality and delivery performance

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management or related field

Typical Education/ Experience:

Typically, 6 or more years of related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range:  $84,600 - $103,400
