Contract Position
$34.00-$41.70/Hour
The Seats Operations and Dock to Delivery team is seeking supply chain professionals to help achieve our airplane delivery goals. This high-visibility role focuses on mitigating risks related to seat transportation, installation, storage, and rework, requiring fast decision-making, problem-solving, and coordination across global suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Lead supplier performance and coordination across global supply chains
Track and manage seat production schedules and airplane delivery milestones
Manage purchase orders (POs) and ensure PO compliance within SAP/ERP systems
Interface with internal teams: Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Program Leadership
Collaborate with external suppliers to monitor timelines and resolve issues
Monitor and report on key metrics and performance indicators (KPIs)
Support data analysis, forecasting, and operational decision-making
Drive continuous improvement efforts and supply chain process optimization
Provide on-call support, including after-hours and weekends as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and 3+ years of relevant experience; Masters degree and 1+ year of experience; 7+ years of relevant experience with no degree
1+ years of experience using ERP systems (e.g., SAP or equivalent)
1+ years supporting supply chain, materials management, or operations in a production environment
1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
Willingness to support on-call shifts including weekends/after-hours
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of relevant work experience in supply chain or manufacturing operations
Experience working with suppliers and resolving production issues
Experience presenting or interfacing with leadership and stakeholders
Process improvement or lean manufacturing project experience
Ability to make decisions with incomplete information and drive resolutions
