Procurement Specialist

Contract Position

$34.00-$41.70/Hour

The Seats Operations and Dock to Delivery team is seeking supply chain professionals to help achieve our airplane delivery goals. This high-visibility role focuses on mitigating risks related to seat transportation, installation, storage, and rework, requiring fast decision-making, problem-solving, and coordination across global suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Lead supplier performance and coordination across global supply chains

• Track and manage seat production schedules and airplane delivery milestones

• Manage purchase orders (POs) and ensure PO compliance within SAP/ERP systems

• Interface with internal teams: Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Program Leadership

• Collaborate with external suppliers to monitor timelines and resolve issues

• Monitor and report on key metrics and performance indicators (KPIs)

• Support data analysis, forecasting, and operational decision-making

• Drive continuous improvement efforts and supply chain process optimization

• Provide on-call support, including after-hours and weekends as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree and 3+ years of relevant experience; Masters degree and 1+ year of experience; 7+ years of relevant experience with no degree

• 1+ years of experience using ERP systems (e.g., SAP or equivalent)

• 1+ years supporting supply chain, materials management, or operations in a production environment

• 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)

• Willingness to support on-call shifts including weekends/after-hours

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of relevant work experience in supply chain or manufacturing operations

• Experience working with suppliers and resolving production issues

• Experience presenting or interfacing with leadership and stakeholders

• Process improvement or lean manufacturing project experience

• Ability to make decisions with incomplete information and drive resolutions
