Ability to Obtain a Secret Clearance
Join a team dedicated to designing and producing armored combat and support vehicles. As a prime mover in ground force capabilities, this firm provides innovative solutions that ensure the safety and effectiveness of military personnel worldwide, focusing on durability, mobility, and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze material requirements (MRP) and demand signals using Oracle systems
- Develop and issue RFQs, RFPs, and RFIs to suppliers
- Perform cost and price analysis, including proposal evaluation and fact-finding
- Lead supplier negotiations (pricing, terms & conditions)
- Create, issue, and administer Purchase Orders (POs) and subcontracts
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and cost compliance
- Serve as primary liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders (engineering, program management, quality)
- Resolve supplier issues related to quality, design, and payment
- Coordinate and support source selection activities
- Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and company policies (GDLS)
- Conduct supplier kickoff meetings and program reviews
- Track supplier lead times and align procurement activities with program schedules
- Support additional procurement and program activities as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
- Experience with Oracle ERP and procurement systems
- Background in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain
- Experience with MRP (Material Requirements Planning)
- Proven experience in cost/price analysis and supplier negotiations
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in defense, aerospace, or manufacturing environments
- Strong knowledge of procurement regulations and subcontract management
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
