The Boeing Company is hiring Defense Procurement Financial Analyst (PFA) – Cost Analysts (Experienced or Senior) to support the team in either Berkley, MO, Huntsville AL, or Mesa, AZ.

As a part of the Defense Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA) team, PFAs support the development of the negotiation positions for the procurement of goods and services by conducting cost/price analysis of supplier proposals. PFAs support U.S. Government, Foreign Military Sale, and Direct Commercial Sale type contracts across multiple programs and platforms. Quantitative and statistical methods are used to correlate, compile and analyze supplier cost and non-cost data.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • The ability to travel if needed

Position Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes supplier proposals to determine a fair and reasonable price position
  • Conducts cost/price analyses using statistical tools, market trend data and parametric models
  • Substantiates cost estimates and lead supplier and customer negotiations
  • Demonstrates cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Engineering, and Supply Chain
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and regulatory agency requirements
  • Develops and improves cost analysis templates and tools

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 1+ years of experience in a business-related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations, Supplier Manager)
  • Experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with and/or exposure to supplier related data
  • Expertise in performing business case or financial analysis
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring

Typical Education & Experience:

Associate (Level 2)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 year’s related work experience, 7 years related work experience, etc.).

Experienced (Level 3)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years related work experience, 10 years related work experience, etc.).

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Summary pay range Associate (Level 2): $66,300 - $74,000

Summary pay range Experienced (Level 3): $84,150 - $94,000
