Job Title: Procurement Specialist
Job Description
The Procurement Specialist will play a vital role in the Purchasing team, continuously enhancing the buying process while collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders. This role is based in our CO facility and will provide support to two facilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage purchase orders based on MRP requirements and promptly update any changes.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and service.
- Expedite deliveries, resolve shortages, and communicate outcomes to production and management.
- Negotiate complex global contracts and drive supplier performance.
- Process RMAs, address quality issues, and request corrective actions.
- Analyze data to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with Quality and Strategic Sourcing for continuous improvement.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and supplier variances.
- Implement changes from ECNs/ECOs and manage supplier transitions.
- Consistently follow up on supplier commitments and manage special projects as assigned.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of MRP systems.
- Prior experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to develop and maintain supplier relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Ability to perform analysis and interpret data into actionable steps.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Prior experience in a supply chain-related role preferred.
- Ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally.
- APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP) or equivalent preferred.
Work Environment
The role is based in a CO facility, supporting two facilities, with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement. The environment encourages strong relationship building and proactive problem solving.

This is a Permanent position based out of Westminster, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
