Join Air Methods as a North East Float Flight Paramedic and take your critical care expertise to new heights. This dynamic role offers the flexibility and variety of supporting multiple Community Base Services (CBS) locations across Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania — ensuring life-saving care reaches patients wherever it’s needed most.
As a key member of our flight crew, you’ll provide advanced life support during air medical transport, manage complex critical patients, and collaborate closely with flight nurses, pilots, and hospital partners. You’ll work a flexible schedule of two 24-hour shifts per week, assigned in advance by our Centralized Scheduling team, allowing you to focus fully on patient care and mission safety.
To qualify, candidates must have a minimum of one (1) year of full-time flight experience and at least three (3) years of recent critical care or 911 experience within the past five years.
If you’re an experienced paramedic ready to expand your impact, work alongside elite clinicians, and represent one of the nation’s most respected air medical teams, this float position offers the challenge and purpose you’ve been looking for.
