Aircraft Cabinet Maker (Contract)
We are currently seeking an experienced Aircraft Cabinet Maker for a contract opportunity supporting aircraft interior work. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in precision woodworking and aircraft interior cabinetry.
Position Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract Length: 2–3 months
- Shift Schedule: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Overtime: Available
Compensation
- Pay Rate: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
- Per Diem: $86.00 per day (for days worked on-site)
Travel & Accommodation
- Hotel: Provided
- Rental Car: Provided (shared)
- Flight: Provided or up to $300 travel reimbursement
Responsibilities
- Fabricate, assemble, and install aircraft cabinetry and interior components
- Work with wood, laminates, veneers, and composite materials
- Perform modifications, repairs, and finishing of aircraft interior furniture
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions
- Ensure high-quality craftsmanship and compliance with aviation standards
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Cabinet Maker, Aircraft Interior Technician, or Finish Carpenter
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience with precision woodworking tools and materials
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work in a production or MRO environment
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
