Job Description:
What are your contributions to the team?
  • Coordinate and communicate with customer / PM to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Coordinate and communicate customer’s needs and expectations to the interior teams I/Cs, ensure all I/Cs are fully informed on the approved work scope and work towards completing the project within the agreed timeline, within scope and budget.
  • Read engineering drawings and BOM’s (Bill of Materials) to determine tooling, parts and materials required by the production team.
  • Communicate and co-ordinate with vendor to ensure the correct quality, quantity, costing, timeline and shipment of required parts, material, and services.
  • Co-ordinate the material planning referencing to the production schedules, ensuring parts, materials, and services arrival on a just in time basis for production.
  • Ensuring receiving material procedure with proper material documentation and co-ordinate to ensure correct quantity and quality of material received. Co-ordinate with vendor for any issues.
  • Generate Purchase Requisition (PR) to Buyers for PO and follow-up with vendor and close the PO upon verification of parts, material and services received.
  • Ensuring all sales, purchases, costing, & shipping information are capture into the SAP system for project’s costing.
  • Work with production teams to organize kitting based on production needs.
  • Develop and maintain parts delivery strategy to production.
  • Review with team I/Cs on tooling, parts, materials, and other resources are ordered, organized and status available prior to project commencement.
  • Ensuring upon completion of projects to follow-up with customer and vendor on the leftover parts and materials.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Operation Manager.
How to thrive in this role?
  • You have completed Diploma/Degree qualifications in relevant fields.
  • You possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • You are technologically savvy and able to utilise Microsoft applications proficiently.
  • You have prior experience in an aviation-related field.
  • You are a team player that takes initiative in your work.
  • You have experience with SAP.
