Responsibilities

• Fabrication and repair:

Pattern, cut, sew, and install various upholstery materials for seats, side panels, headliners, and carpets. 

• Removal and installation:

Remove old upholstery and install new covers, including working with and installing seats, according to design specifications. 

• Material handling:

Work with a wide range of materials, including leather, vinyl, and fabric, as well as composites and padding. 

• Technical tasks:

Use specialized tools like commercial sewing machines, staple guns, and adhesives. 

• Quality and safety:

Ensure all work meets aviation safety standards, fire resistance, and client specifications. 

• Documentation:

Maintain accurate and concise records of all work completed.
