Location: Savannah, GA Pay Rate: $25.66/hour Schedule: Full-Time: 1st Shift (5:30am - 4pm)

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled Upholstery Technician II to join our team in partnership with a leading Aerospace innovator. In this role, you will play a direct part in crafting the high-quality aircraft interiors that define excellence, comfort, and safety for passengers around the world. Your craftsmanship will help bring engineering visions to life—one panel, one stitch, one cabin at a time.

About the Role
As an Upholstery Technician II, you will work under minimal supervision to fabricate and install upholstery, cover panels, and create basic patterns using engineering drawings and aircraft specifications. Your expertise with materials, tools, and fabrication techniques will ensure every aircraft interior meets the highest standards of precision and durability.

What You’ll Do
• Fabricate and install flat panels and curtains using engineering drawings and aircraft specifications
• Sew simple covers and work with fabrics, vinyl, leather hides, composites, adhesives, hardware, and power tools
• Cut and surge carpets, cover bulkheads, and install panels
• Potentially fabricate metal parts and fit various interior components including windows, headliners, and sidewalls
• Use the material tracking system to create parts demands, track squawks, and sign off work
• Collaborate with leads and senior technicians to support process improvements using Lean Manufacturing principles
• Ensure compliance with safety, 5S, housekeeping standards, and proper use of PPE
• Address and report unsafe conditions and perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years of experience using commercial sewing machines, sergers, and hand tools used in upholstery or carpet trades
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English proficiently
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation
• Proficiency with measuring tools and basic math computations
• Computer literacy
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs, work in confined areas, lift up to 40 pounds, and work any shift
*Must have Valid Drivers License

Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience in the aerospace industry

Pay Details: $25.66 per hour
