How youll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) This position reports directly to the General Manager – Political Engagement in the Government Affairs Department. The candidate will assist with providing administrative and program support for DeltaPAC, GOTV, grassroots, site visits and other political engagement initiatives. Candidate will assist in the preparation of presentations and reports, as well as participate in the planning and execution of department functions. Assignments are completed in an efficient, accurate and timely manner while ensuring the methods conform to company standards. Candidate practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) Qualified candidate must be enrolled as a current/active student in an accredited graduate program at a college and/or university. Candidate must be willing to commit to the duration of the internship which may last up to 12 months or longer.Must be currently based in Washington, D.C., or willing to relocate for the full 12-month duration of the internship.Candidate must be detail-oriented and very organized. Can communicate effectively and legibly with all levels of personnel.Demonstrated ability with information gathering, data collection; problem solving; innovation/creativity. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.Basic level familiarity with photo editing or graphic design programs.Demonstrates that privacy is a priority when handling personal data.Adaptability; must be able to function in a fast-paced work environment with competing priorities.Candidate must convey professional image to all levels of employees.Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
